La Curia di Bacco

Cocktail Bars in Rome, Italy

La Curia di Bacco

La Curia di Bacco is a well-known bar amongst the locals, located just a few steps from Campo de Fiori. Legend has it that one of the rooms of the bar, was actually an exit from Teatro di Pompeo, where Julius Cesar was warned about the impending attack from Brutus.

Whatever you choose to believe, the bar itself gives you the feel of stepping back into time, due to the selective use of lanterns and candles which illuminate the exposed ancient brick work. With a vast selection of wines and other beverages, you are sure to find your favorite, amongst the 100 labels of local and international spirits.

If you're looking to get your money's worth at a bar, then La Curia di Bacco would be the place for you, as it offers abundant hors d'oeurves, pizzas and even traditional pasta dishes. Happy hour runs every night until 9pm allowing you to take advantage of drink specials. If you're looking for something to do on a Sunday night, the bar offers a rich buffet with your 'apperitivo' from 7pm - 10pm.
