Events in Rome, Italy

The annual Race for the Cure takes place this Sunday in Rome with the beautiful Stadio delle Terme di Caracalla as the starting point. The race which has become an annual event since 2000, attracts not only a large number of participants from Rome and Italy but also many international runners who lend their support to this worthy cause.

Participants walk, run or jog the 2 mile course through the heart of the historic center of Rome, finishing at the same point they started. Special pink caps and T-Shirts are given to participants of the race, and all proceeds go to support breast cancer research.
