Cristalli di Zucchero located in Via di San Teodoro is an off shoot from its original location in Monte Verde. The same quality and ingenious desserts that made it famous, are replicated at its small shop near the Colosseum. For those who love puff pastry and fruit based treats, this place is a dream come true.

Exotic flavors such as passion fruit and mango are incorporated into some of the sweets and we just love the fact that cakes come in miniature sizes making them easy to carry home with you or eaten outside the shop. If you happen to pass by during lunch time, there are a wide variety of sandwiches and pizzas and creamy smooth sorbets to satisfy you. With prices like €2-€3 per tart or cake it doesn't get much better than this.
