Restaurants in Rome, Italy
This restaurant was rated the no.1 restaurant in Rome by users of TravelAdvisor and its not hard to see why. The superb location near to the Spanish Steps, coupled with quality ingredients and dishes presented in an innovative and modern way, has shown us why both exigent locals and tourists insist on returning time and time again.
The classic interior decor is the most traditional aspect of the restaurant. The menu becomes a veritable list of Italian favorites and rare delicacies presented in the most tantalizing fashion. Appetizers of quail eggs with savory vegetable wrapped in succulent bacon, exquisite Belon oysters and smoked duck breast with banana bread and nuts. First courses include traditional favorites with updated twists such as spaghetti cacio e pepe with beans and ginger marinated shrimp, pumpkin risotto with artichoke and tuna sashimi. The main courses are too numerous to mention, but suffice to say that meat and fish lovers will be genuinely satisfied with the choices available.
The prices themselves are untraditional, with a variety of special degustation menus allowing you to sample the best cuisine at low prices. The restaurant is extremely small even for Roman standards so make sure you book in advance and stick to the time of your reservation.
