Restaurants in Rome, Italy
Ai Bozzi located in a typical Roman piazza, lies in the heart of Trastevere. With a large mezzanine to accommodate the many patrons who dine here, you can be assured a mouthwatering meal that doesn't break the bank.
Ai Bozzi whips up delectable house specialties staying true to its Calabrian roots but paying homage to classic Roman dishes. The ever popular 'all'Amatriciana' and 'Carbonara' are staples on the menu, while the homemade pastas and fresh fish take you straight to the sea side of Calabria. For those looking for delicious pizza, baked to perfection in a traditional wooden oven, Ai Bozzi goes beyond your expectations. We highly recommend the appetizer of fish which allows you to try 10 different specialties in one go.
Service is extremely quick and professional, the waiters obviously accustomed to the droves of people in varying groups of 2 right up to 18. If you have not reserved in advance you can be assured you will have to line up with the locals outside and wait for an available table. Prices are reasonable and are on the lower end of the scale with respect to other restaurants in Trastevere.
This may not be the perfect restaurant for a quiet romantic dinner, instead a wonderful dinner in a warm and fun atmosphere.
