Cocktail Bars in Rome, Italy

Caffè della Pace is a hit amongst the young, artsy crowd in Rome. On any given night especially during the summer, the ivy covered walls are surrounded by an intimate array of tables with Romans and tourists alike sipping on cocktails watching the crowds flowing from Piazza Navona. Music and the soft lights around you transport you into the European night scene repeated in squares all across Europe.

Courteous, quick waiters and waitresses take your order of your favourite beverage which is accompanied by standard hors' d'ouevres of olives, potato chips and nuts. It is a rather romantic place and could perhaps be an option for your first night in the Eternal City. The majority of people use this as the first meeting place with friends before heading off to dinner at 9 or 9:30pm or sometimes as an after dinner watering hole. It is a bit on the pricey side for what is offered, but we do recommend it to those who want to splurge at least one night in Rome.
