Cocktail Bars in Rome, Italy

Always a hive of activity no matter the hour of the day, Friends Art Cafè is a cheap and lively bar located in Trastevere. The only bar in one of the most famous piazzas in Trastevere, Friends is the quintessential bar for young tourists looking to mingle with locals and share their travel experiences with others. The modern feel, seen in the brightly colored plastic chairs, metallic tables and constant music, is in line with what a typical Euro-trendy bar stands for.

The split level plan separates the bar area from that of the restaurant which offers cheap and tasty pastas, bruschetta and salads on a daily basis for lunch and dinner. The bar area with its lack of seating, can be a bit crowded at times, but generates a more sociable atmosphere for mingling. The usual fare of cocktails - Mojitos, Cosmopolitans, Negroni - are available but weren't up to the standard we expected. We must make special mention however, of their delicious cappuccinos which are topped with heart-shaped milk foam and the fresh warm pastries which await patrons each morning.
