Hostel des Artistes is a hostel which offers accommodation to budget conscious travelers looking to maximize every Euro.  The truth is, is most of your time in Rome shouldn't be spent in the confines of a hotel room and neither should your money.

This hostel has more of a hotel character meaning that there are many private single, double and twin rooms available. There are also dorm-style rooms for young, adventurous travelers and its close proximity to the train station is ideal for those looking to zip in and out of Rome. Be aware that sharing a bathroom with four other people is the norm rather than the exception and for more mature travelers the noise from younger ones may be bothersome. There are no kitchen facilities and at the time this article was written we were awaiting confirmation as to whether a social common room existed. Its proximity to Termini train station means that navigating the city is easy as both underground lines and the main bus depot converge at this train station.
