Monte Mario Motorcycling Circuit

Events in Rome, Italy

Monte Mario Motorcycling Circuit For the 7th straight year in a row, the historic Castel Sant'Angelo will play host to the Monte Mario Motorcycling Circuit. This event welcomes motorcycling enthusiasts to admire, photograph and listen to the splendid sounds of engines of motorcycles from by gone eras, seen only now in the garages of collectors.

Another fun aspect of the event is seeing these and other modern motorcycles take part in a race at extremely low speeds throughout the streets of Rome. This year's feature motorcycle is the extremely rare Moto Guzzi C4V from 1926, which was used by Guido Mentasti to win his first European title in Monza in 1924.

The race course for those who would like to watch from the side lines is as follows:
Largo dei Mutilati ed Invalidi di Guerra - Via Crescenzio - Piazza del Risorgimento - Via Leone IV - Via della Giuliana - Piazzale Clodio - Panoramica (salita e discesa) - Circonvallazione Clodia - Circonvallazione Trionfale - Piazzale degli Eroi - Via Andrea Doria - Via Ruggero Di Lauria -
Via Candia - Via Leone IV - Piazza del Risorgimento - Via Crescenzio -  Piazza Cavour - Largo dei Mutilati ed Invalidi di Guerra.
