Events in Rome, Italy
For the third time at Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, National Geographic displays a collection rich in candid and brazen shots of the people who make up our world. Thought-provoking and emotive, the exhibition challenges all of us to ponder on the differences which separate us and the similarities which unite us.
Bold, vivid colors encased in crisp photographs show and highlight the authors' visions. The authors' of these stories without words, come from all over the world, adding to the dynamics of this multicultural presentation. Haunting and eerie at times, we play witness to fleeting moments -humanity at its strongest yet at its weakest and most vulnerable. Perhaps through the efforts of presentations such as these, we can now truly begin to embrace the heterogeneity amongst us whilst we garner new respect for the homogeneity which defines the human race.
