Sitting in the shadow of the Colosseum, is the  Sicilian pastry and gelato shop Ciuri Ciuri. The philosophy of the pastry shop was originally that of allowing Sicilians, resident in the Eternal City to feel at home. Quickly soon after the doors opened, non-Sicilians flocked to the shop to sample the best in Sicilian desserts and gelato.

Besides traditional sweets such as cassata, cannoli and brioche, there are also rare treats like chocolate from Modica and the Bacio Siciliano. After 12pm each day patrons have the opportunity to dine upon the treasures in Sicilian cuisine such as arancini, capponata and sficione palermitano.
