Gelato in Rome, Italy

Gelateria della Palma though one of the most commercial gelaterie in Rome, has the widest range of gelato flavours available. Boasting 150 different flavors, it is one of the safest bets for eating gelato of a fairly high quality at some of the lowest prices in Rome.

Located a few steps from the Pantheon,  it also has a seating area inside the actual shop, a rarity in the Eternal City. The only time we've seen the shop with very few people was on one of the coldest and rainiest days in Rome, when there were few tourists out and about in the city.  More than likely, you will be required to wait in a line which stretches the length of the entire shop, but the counters with the fruit flavors usually have the fewest amount of people.
