We stumbled across this pastry shop one day while surfing the web and we have remained absolutely shocked that places like this exist in Rome and we didn't know about it. The art of pastry making has been taken to a whole new level in this 'modern caffè/pastry shop/brunch/lunch place' located in the Monti neighborhood in Rome.
Most pastry shops tend to overlook cookies, diverting most of their attention to decadent cakes and elaborate desserts. One of our editors will avoid most sweets, but has a clear love for cookies. At Sweety Rome, the cookies have been created to be imaginative, whimsical and best of all delicious. Cookies in the form of lips, bags, and even cupcakes can be bought throughout the day along with a whole host of other delicious desserts. The caffè is open for breakfast, offering fresh muffins made with real fruit, hot scones and mini plum cakes. You can also have a light, lunch on weekdays and Sunday Brunch is a buffet style occasion to sample the best the pastry shop offers for one price of €18.
