Woody Allen plays clarinet with his famous jazz band, bringing to Rome a concert narrating the jazz culture from New Orleans. Expect a lively and fun concert from this band, comprised of a trombone, a banjo, drum and other elements.
Woody Allen better known for his role as an actor and director, plays with his band every Monday night at the Carlyle Hotel in Manhattan. Allen himself has been playing the clarinet since he was a child and went on to specialize in New Orleans Jazz or Dixieland Jazz. This type of jazz made popular by such hits such as 'When the Saints Go Marching In' and 'Basin Street Blues', encourages the audience to dance and sing along, they themselves becoming a part of the performance.
