Obika Mozzarella Bar

Obika Mozzarella Bar

We happened upon this bar one Friday evening on our way to Piazza Navona. Obika is a trendy bar with ample outdoor seating, situated in a quiet square. It could have been the smiling customers or the neon lit scooter outside which drew our attention, but more than likely it was the 10 Euro price with buffet included which reeled us in.

Inside the dimly lit bar there is an assortment of couches in the center of the small room while either side is lined by bar stools.

We literally stumbled into the door of this modern, contemporary caffè, one wet spring evening in the Eternal City. We were actually giving a close friend an informal tour of the city, when we needed a respite from the sloshy streets, endless sea of umbrellas and crazy Roman drivers.
