Events in Rome, Italy

Skunk Anansie the controversial British rock band, will command the stage at the Rock in Rome festival on 15th July. Skunk Anansie whose distinct style of music has led them to tour with groups such as U2, Aerosmith and Bad Religion, has been described as 'an amalgam of heavy metal and black feminist rage'.

The band dissolved in 2001, allowing the various members to pursue solo careers after a successful string of albums from 1995-2001. In 2009 the band confirmed rumors of a possible reconciliation and tour, releasing an album comprising their greatest hits 'Smashes and Trashes'.
