Trains and Trams

Trams and trains can also be used in the city to get you to your destination. The main trams and trains of importance for tourists are:

#8 found at Largo Argentina. This tram takes you to Trastevere which is the first stop after the train crosses the Tiber River. You can also use this tram to reach the famous Sunday market Porta Portese.
#2 found at Piazza del Popolo. Links Flaminio to the Auditorium and Stadio Olimpico.
Roma - Viterbo (urbano) found at Flaminio Train Station. Links Flaminio to Parioli.
Roma - Lido found at E.U.R Magliana (line B). This travels to Ostia Antica and the beaches surrounding it.
Roma - Tivoli found at Tiburtina Station, this travels to Tivoli and the baths of Tivoli.
